Well, this week Kallen turned 20 months. While 20 months is not necessarily that significant of an age, the fact we've moved to the 2-'s and out of the teens and we're only FOUR months away from 2 years...well, wow :)
Kallen is for sure more fun than ever, although definitely faster than ever too! We took him into his "18 month" checkup a week ago and things looks good----he's in the 60th percentile for his height, and the 10th percentile for his weight---and the 90th percentile for his head--ha! The doctor was a little concerned with his lack of interest in talking (which to be honest so am I a bit) and suggested a speech therapist. I think "why not?" but we've also been working a lot harder at home at labeling everything verbally, and I went to B&N and got some flash cards we've been using (I apologize if this is kinda choppy---I'm writing while watching ice dancing---ha!!!).

I think at his doctors appointment we only had about 5 words, so I'm feeling a little better. :)
Hard to believe 20 months have gone by! A few friends have had babies recently and it is AMAZING to see a newborn...funny how hard it is to believe Kallen was ever that tiny!!!

might he be more of a thinker? contemplater? that's how he strikes me via pictorial biography :) besides, how is he supposed to get a word in?!? hahaha
isn't it so weird when you get to the doc and you can't remember all the things you need to know. like, the doc asked if belle can count to 20. my mind went blank. all i could remem was she does, but sometimes misses 18 or 20. i left and recalled that she's been counting to over 50 for months now. they should email us the questions ahead of time!!! those hot rooms and tired kids are a brain-kill!
he's so cute. you're such a lovey mommy. i love it.
20 months, huh? time to have another....hahaha :)
btw, those stats are almost identical to jackson. head: enormous. body, skiiiiinny. height 50-60th. yep. know that one well :) 6.5 years later---still the same :)
CRAZY to think he's that old already?! LOVE the doggy!! one of the most common phrases in our house - "Graham, neither the doggies nor Daddy is around" (And it's a complete mystery to me what he's actually asking for!
